Collection Design
Grounded Play is a conceptual kids lifestyle collection exploring how playground environments can influence product design through color, texture, and sensory experience. I was interested in translating the visual language of recycled play surfaces, primary playground color, and sun-faded outdoor materials into a softer, more wearable system for apparel and accessories.
The collection balances saturated blues, reds, and yellows with grounded neutrals inspired by packed earth, chalk dust, and weathered natural textures. Across apparel, footwear, and accessories, I focused on creating a cohesive product family that feels playful and energetic while still calm, tactile, and comfort-driven.
Color Direction + Styling
An exploration of color-driven styling through coordinated outfit compositions, texture layering, and curated visual references. Many garments were intentionally over-dyed to create stronger palette cohesion, nuanced undertones, and more harmonious material relationships.
Inspired by seasonal color theory, natural materials, and atmospheric imagery, these studies examine how color and texture influence mood, visual storytelling, and emotional resonance within a collection.
